It creates a protective healing barrier for compromised skin. For individuals with dry and/or sensitive skin, a daily full body moisturiser is recommended as a preventative measure (to reduce skin discomfort or tightness associated with dry/sensitive skin types), before layering on the Rescue Balm Gels on affected areas where necessary.

Its balm gel to micro-emulsion, emollient texture creates a protective barrier over the skin, preventing water loss and promoting a moist environment for healing.
